This will continue throughout the entire period of Ramadan, which is likely to last 29 or 30 days. Ramadan started on Friday, 24 April 2020, and Eid Al Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan, is likely to fall on 23 or 24 May 2020.
Public sector employees have already been granted a reduced working day. MoHRE announced that the government sector workers will work only between the hours of 9am and 2pm.
In addition, Dubai Media Office announced that after easing COVID-19 related movement restrictions, employees can return to offices, if necessary.
