Ireland – Increase in PRSI contribution rates

As announced in the 2024 Budget, all PRSI rates will increase by 0.1% for both employer and employee contributions.

Changes to Class A

• The employee rate of 4% will increase by 0.1% to 4.1%.
• The employer rates of 8.8% and 11.05% will increase by 0.1% to 8.9% and 11.15% respectively.

There are no changes to the income bands and PRSI credit. The PRSI rate changes are effective from 1 October 2024.
