Change In Social Security System Contribution

The Social Security System  issued circular no. 2024-006 introducing new Social Security System contributions for 2025. The following changes are effective from 1 January 2025:

• Increased total contribution rate (employer plus employee)  from 14% to 15%,
• Increased the minimum Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) from PHP 4,000.00 to PHP 5,000.00, and
• Increased the maximum MSC from PHP 30,000.00 to PHP 35,000.00.
