We are seeking a mid/senior Technical Analyst to join our IT team. The primary focus of this position is to gather and analyze technical requirements from third-party providers, perform gap analysis, conduct feasibility studies, and provide input to integration developers. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of processes, integration methodologies, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party providers to gather and analyze technical requirements for payroll systems integration.
• Conduct thorough gap analysis to identify disparities between the organization’s current payroll systems and the desired integrated state.
• Perform feasibility studies to assess the technical viability of integrating new payroll systems or making modifications to existing systems.
• Provide detailed specifications and documentation for integration interfaces, data mappings, and transformations.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, defining data structures, fields, and their meanings within the payroll systems.
• Conduct step analysis to identify and document the sequence of processes and data flows involved in payroll system integration.
• Collaborate closely with integration developers, providing them with clear and comprehensive input on technical requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with statutory authorities and regulations related to payroll systems integration and data privacy.
• Analyze and validate integration test results, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to integration developers during the implementation and post-implementation phases.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, integration methodologies, and best practices in payroll systems integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, Implementations and Dev, to ensure seamless integration and data exchange between systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role, focusing on integration, specifications, and data exchange.
• Strong understanding of API, FTP, SOAP connectivities and different types of authorization methods for seamless data exchange and integration.
• Desirable but not mandatory proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing technical requirements from third-party providers.
• Familiarity with integration methodologies, data mappings, and transformation concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and integration developers.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
