Morocco – New Social Solidarity Contribution Introduced.

In accordance with the Circular 731 of the Finance Law 2021, the government of Morocco introduced an additional social solidarity contribution of 1.5%, effective from 22 January 2021. The new social solidarity contribution applies to annual net income that exceeds MAD 240,000 and in accordance with the circular, the social solidarity contribution applies only to the payroll payments made in 2021.
