Adjustment of Thresholds
The basic income thresholds for various tax brackets have been increased.

Canada child benefit (CCB)
- The Canada Child Benefit (CCB) base amount for a child under age 6 in 2025 is $7,997.
- The CCB base amount for a child aged 6 to 17 in 2025 is $6,748.
- The adjusted family net income at which the benefit phase-out begins in 2025 is $37,487.
- The second phase-out threshold in 2025 is $81,222.
- The base phase-out amount for one eligible child in 2025 is $3,061.
- The base phase-out amount for two eligible children in 2025 is $5,904.
- The base phase-out amount for three eligible children in 2025 is $8,310.
- The base phase-out amount for four or more eligible children in 2025 is $10,059.

Note: The above changes have not been approved. Once it is approved it will be effective from January 2025.
