Saudi Arabia Payroll Outsourcing Alert

Saudi Arabia – Gradual Easing of Restrictions.

The Ministry of Interior for Saudi Arabia, has announced the below five steps for the gradual lifting of the COVID-19 related restrictions.

First:

From Thursday 5 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 28 May 2020 until the end of Saturday 7 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 30 May 2020, the following changes will be implemented:

Second:

From Sunday 8 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 31 May 2020 until the end of Saturday 28 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding 20 June 2020, the following changes will be introduced:

Third:

From Sunday, 29 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 21 June 2020, lifting of all restrictions, except in Makkah.

Fourth:

The first step will be implemented in Makkah from Sunday, 8 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 31 May 2020 until the end of Saturday 28 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 20 June 2020. The second step start from Sunday 29 Shawwal 1441 AH corresponding to 21 June 2020.

Fifth:

All citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia should follow the procedures that limit the transmission of infection, such as wearing masks, hand washing, sterilization, and social distancing.
