Lebanon – Amendment to sickness and maternity ceiling amount

On 25 October 2022, the Lebanon Ministry of Finance issued a decree to modify the ceiling amount for sickness, maternity, and family allowance contributions.

The sickness and maternity contribution ceiling amount has been increased from 5,000,000 LBP to 5,600,000 LBP such that the maximum contributions are amended as follows:

The family allowance contribution ceiling amount has been increased from 2,825,000 LBP to 3,425,000 LBP.

The ceiling amendments are effective from 1st of October 2022.
