Wages Protection System (WPS) mandatory for DMCC members

The Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC) has implemented Wages Protection System (WPS) for its DMCC members and made it mandatory from 15 February 2023.

The WPS is an electronic salary transfer system that allows DMCC member companies to pay employees’ wages via banks, exchange houses, and financial institutions that are approved and authorized to provide the service by the UAE Central Bank.
