Combined Tax Declaration Forms Postponed in Turkey

Turkey – Rollout of a Combined Tax & Social Insurance Declaration Form Postponed
In accordance with the law published in the Official Gazette No. 29796 on August 9, 2016, Income Tax Withholding Declaration and Social Security Insurance (SSI) Premium and Service Declaration forms were scheduled to be merged into a single declaration – Withholding and Premium Service Declaration. This change was planned to go into effect on January 1, 2020, as confirmed in the Official Gazette No. 30844 published on
July 27, 2019.

In accordance with the Official Gazette No. 31034 published on February 9, 2020, the implementation of the above change had been postponed until March 1, 2020.

However, in accordance with the Official Gazette No. 31089 published on April 4, 2020, the implementation of the above change has been postponed until July 1, 2020, excluding for the tax departments of Bursa, Eskisehir and Konya, that have already implemented the change.
