Change in Minimum wage for EOBI calculations

Effective from 1 July 2023, the Employee’s Old Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) through notification no. ADLW 8(20)/ICT/2021-325 has amended the minimum wages for unskilled worker ordinance, 1961 from PKR 25,000 to PKR 32,000 monthly wage.

The Employer and Employee contribution will be PKR 1,600 and PKR 320 i.e., 5% and 1% of Minimum monthly wage respectively.

The amendment will apply to all employees after 1 July 2023.
