The opportunity

The Compliance Process (SaaS) Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the SaaS compliance processes within our payroll compliance team. This role involves ensuring that our SaaS payroll solutions adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and maintain compliance processes and standards.

Your key responsibilities

Compliance Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance processes and procedures for our SaaS payroll solutions.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to global payroll regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address compliance risks and issues.

SaaS Requirements Management

  • Understand and document SaaS-specific requirements for payroll compliance, from project inception throughout implementation and finally payroll processing and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the compliance and product teams to ensure these requirements are integrated into the product design and functionality.
  • Monitor and review SaaS updates to maintain compliance standards.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and improve compliance processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to integrate compliance requirements into software updates and new features.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the payroll compliance team to provide guidance and support on compliance matters.
  • Coordinate with implementations, operations, and operational support teams to ensure alignment and consistency in compliance practices.

Training and Development

  • Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams on compliance-related topics.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and standards, and ensure the team is informed and trained accordingly.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of compliance processes, audits, and assessments.
  • Generate regular reports on compliance status, risks, and mitigation strategies for senior management.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong understanding of SaaS requirements in a payroll software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of global payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in compliance software and tools.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management in the payroll or SaaS payroll industry.
  • Experience working in a global or multinational environment is a plus.
