Saudi Arabia – 30% Saudization Requirement for Marketing Roles
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development issued a decision to increase the Saudization requirements for marketing professions. With the Ministry’s decision, the following Saudization requirements have been established, effective from 1 April 2022:
- All private companies will be required to maintain at least a 30% Saudization level for all marketing-related jobs.
- The 30% Saudization in the marketing profession is only implemented for the companies with more than 5 employees employed in the marketing professions.
- The minimum monthly salary for a Saudi national in the marketing profession will be SAR 5,500 in order for the Saudi national employee to be considered in the Saudization calculation.
