Kuwait City’s metro is projected to cost $20bn. The three-line system will include 61 stations and cover the entire capital of the country. A 23.7-km line will run from Salwa to Kuwait University, calling 19 stations. Another 21-km line will run from Hawally, stopping at 27 stations to end in Kuwait City. A third line is projected to be 24 km long and take passengers from Kuwait International Airport to the Abdullah Al Mubarak area, passing through 15 stations.
